Gross! Wendy's Frosty Licker Photo Goes Viral After Taco Bell Shell Licker Pic--What Is Wrong With Fast Food Workers!?[PHOTO]

The Wendy's Frosty licker photo will surely make you not want to suck down a Frosty for a long time. The photo shows an unidentified Wendy's employee  eating the soft-serve ice cream treat right out of the machine. Yuck!

The Wendy's Frosty licker employee was fired from his location but the Wendy's chain is still in hot waters.

When the Frosty licker photo went viral Wednesday, the fast food chain responded.

In an e-mail to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Wendy's spokesman Bob Bertini says "If true, this is totally inexcusable. We are investigating and will take action."

It is not known where the photo of this Wendy's Frosty licker was taken, but Dennis Lynch, a spokesman, for the restaurant, told USA Today that the incident in question likely took place in May.

"Obviously, the employee broke the rules," Lynch said in an e-mail. "He is no longer at the restaurant. The franchisee is meeting with the restaurant team to reinforce proper procedures. We have a daily regiment in each restaurant that stresses proper food-handling procedures. The manager follows a disciplined process. When mistakes happen, we try to respond immediately and take corrective action."

This seems to be the new trend amongst fast food workers...But Why?!

The incident follows a similar one last week when a Taco Bell employee was photographed licking a stack of taco shells. The licker and co-worker who took the picture in question was also fired.

"We do not believe these employees harmed, or intended to harm, anyone," said Taco Bell in a statement. "But we deplore the impressions this has caused to our customers, fans, franchisees, and team members. The behavior is unacceptable for people working in a restaurant."

Last summer, a Burger King worker posted a picture of himself stepping in bins of lettuce.

About a month later, a Taco Bell employee tweeted a picture of himself peeing into a nachos order at an Indiana restaurant. He, too, was fired once local officials identified him.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, a KFC employee in Tennessee posted on Facebook a picture of herself about to lick a mound of mashed potatoes. It is unclear if the young woman's tongue actually touched the food or if the dish was served to customers. Still, the woman was fired for posting the picture.

Ok, I can take a joke and all but this affects millions of people's physical health. And for most people it actually hurts their mental health! I won't be able to think about anything else all day, and probably won't eat for hours...Gross!
