Sebastian de la Cruz performs national anthem before game four of the NBA finals between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

This 11-year-old, Sebastian de la Cruz performs national anthem, but the Spurs lose the game and now the best-of-seven series is tied 2-2.

People stepped forward to praise the moment after Sebastian de la Cruz performs national anthem. One of them included San Antonio Mayor Julián Cruz posted about the performance after he and his wife introduced him to the crowd.

"I'm proud of our young San Antonio superstar Sebastian de la Cruz for a spectacular rendition of our national anthem at last night's Spurs game," Castro posted after his performance before game 5. "Sebastian, don't let a few negative voices get you down. You are a true talent and you represent the best of our nation's future!"

Even Spurts coach Gregg Popovich spoke about the kid.

"He's a class act," Popovich told the Desert News. "He makes you feel that the future can be very bright."

There were people who disliked his performance just like anybody else.

"To the people who do have hatred in their hearts, I just want to tell them that they should think before they say things," Sebastian said in an interview with ABC.
