Watch Dogs Release Date Announced; Movie Adaptation For The Ubisoft’s FPS Game Already In Development

Watch Dogs release date is confirmed. It will be available on the 19th day of November, 2013, according to IGN. Watch Dogs was revealed during the E3 2013 event in Los Angeles Convention Center and it was announced that it will be available for Xbox 360, PC, Sony PS3, Nintendo Wii U, Sony PS4 and Xbox One.
But there is more exciting news recently announced aside from the Watch Dogs release date. IGN reported that Ubisoft have already revealed that three of its popular game franchises will come to theaters soon and that includes Watch Dogs. Watch Dogs movie alongside Far Cry and Rabbids are already in development at Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox for the games' feature adaptations.
According to Jean-Julien Baronnet, the UMP CEO, Ubisoft will still have the creative control over the Watch Dogs movie as well as Far Cry and Rabbids. Baronnet says, "no one can tell us you have to do the movie a certain way." The Rabbids movie, for example, will be live-action with CG bunny characters, à la The Smurfs."
Baronnet also stressed that the Far Cry, Rabbid and Watch Dogs movie games will not be merely adaptations. "These are not adaptations. We will create a brand new story. Always."
