A Eventful Weekend For Kimye: An Album Leak Followed by a Baby

Kardashian timing is impeccable.

Less than 24 hours after Kanye West's latest album, Yeezus, leaked on the internet almost a week early, his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, goes into labor with their first child.

Friday West's highly anticipated album, Yeezus, leaked on the internet almost a week early. It was supposed to debut on June 18. Then, according to reports Kardashian went into labor Saturday morning and was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Later that day Kardashian gave birth to the couple's first child, a baby girl.

The baby's arrival was somewhat unexpected -- coming a few weeks earlier than the July due date.

Although West has been all over promoting his new album doing interviews with major publications such as the New York Times, showing visuals for his song New Slave in various locations around the globe, and hosting listening parties in cities like New York City and Miami, E! News reported that West was by his girlfriend's side during the delivery.

PEOPLE Magazine confirmed West was with her for the birth.

"West was supposed to attend his listening session last night, Kanye cancelled about 15 minutes prior [to the playback] to be by Kim's side." A source for PEOPLE magazine said.

Regarding the Yeezus leak, West said at a listening party, "I have this new strategy. It's called no strategy. This album is all about giving. This whole process is all about giving no f***s at all."
