BTS World's Fate Hangs by a Thread — What's Happening to the Beloved Mobile Game?

In a disappointing turn of events for fans, BTS World, the popular mobile game featuring the globally acclaimed K-pop group BTS, will be shutting down its services at the end of December. This announcement comes as a blow to many players who have enjoyed the immersive experience offered by the game.

Netmarble, the company behind BTS World, made an official statement on the game's official forum, informing players about the decision to discontinue the service. As of now, the game is no longer available for download from both the Play Store and App Store.

Detailed Service Termination Schedule

The announcement from the BTS World Manager expressed gratitude for the love and support received from fans. It also assured players that efforts will be made to minimize any inconvenience caused during the remaining period of service.

The service termination schedule was provided in detail, outlining key dates and actions for players to take. 

One issue of concern for players is the Facebook account linking and log-in problem. After the game download is blocked . Facebook account linking and log-in will be denied. To resolve this issue, players are advised to link their accounts with another social media account through the in-game options.

Many fans are now requesting Netmarble to release an archive of the exclusive content filmed and recorded specifically for the game. This would allow users who have not yet completed the game to experience the full extent of what BTS World had to offer.

While this news may come as a disappointment, there is still nearly four months left for fans to enjoy playing BTS World. It is worth noting that this is not the first time a BTS game has met such a fate.

SuperStar BTS, another popular game featuring the group, ended its service back in June 2020 after receiving widespread acclaim for its gameplay and card-collecting system.
