SHINee Taemin's Secret Tears: Shocking Truth Behind His Self-Doubt Revealed

SHINee's Taemin, a prominent figure in the K-Pop industry, recently made a striking revelation about his early struggles with self-doubt and the relentless pursuit of perfection.

As he returned with his fourth mini album, "Guilty," following the completion of his mandatory military service, Taemin appeared on BTS Suga's talk show, "Suchwita," where he shared an introspective glimpse into his journey as a solo artist.

Taemin's Struggles on the Path to Stardom

Taemin's story begins with his debut in the music industry at the tender age of 16, fueled by an ambitious vision of himself as the best artist by the time he turned 20.

He poured his heart and soul into years of rigorous practice and self-improvement, driven by an unwavering commitment to achieve greatness.

However, as his 20th birthday approached, Taemin found himself grappling with self-doubt and a profound sense of inadequacy. The gap between his aspirations and his perceived shortcomings left him emotionally shaken.

In a raw and vulnerable moment, Taemin sought solace in the practice room during the early hours of the morning, shedding tears and screaming in frustration. Yet, rather than retreating, he channeled his despair into relentless practice, pushing himself to the brink.

Suga: Could you tell us the process of going from that to becoming a solo artist?

Taemin: After debuting at 16, I had this goal of when I turn 20, the image of me in my twenties was 'I'm gonna be the best. After these four years, I'm gonna be the best,' so I really worked hard. I practiced a lot and worked on improving myself.

Amid his journey of self-discovery, Taemin received a pivotal opportunity from his company, a turning point in his career.

This chance allowed him to further prove his dedication and resilience, setting him on the path to becoming the extraordinary artist he is today.

Then it was the end of the year right before turning 20. I saw myself now at 20 years old and I was lacking so much more than I expected. So, I went to the practice room in that early morning (instead of going home) and I cried and screamed.

And then I kept practicing. I practiced really hard and just when I thought I was at my limits, the company gave me a chance

In a heartwarming exchange with Suga, Taemin, who shares the same age as his fellow musician, acknowledged the importance of being a role model for junior artists. He expressed a desire to inspire and uplift others, recognizing the profound impact that mentors had on his own growth.

I want to become someone who can be a source of inspiration to others because other people were that to me. I want to be a part of this virtuous cycle.

Taemin's humility and his aspiration to be a "source of inspiration" resonated with many fans and fellow artists. Netizens and K-Pop enthusiasts lauded his unwavering determination, resilience, and tireless work ethic.

Netizens' comments:
