Miss USA Winner, Erin Brady, Is Also Prudential Financial Accountant [Video & Gif]

The Miss USA winner last night has the beauty to become the next Miss USA, but Erin Brady's also got the math skills and intellect needed to be a certified accountant in her home state of Connecticut.

Brady won the coveted Miss USA crown after beating 51 other contestants at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Casino last night.

But the Miss USA winner will probably have some killer stories when she tells her co-workers at Prudential Financial, where she's an accountant, about her wild win.

The Miss Connecticut, and now Miss USA winner, was crowned by last year's winner, Maryland's Nana Meriwether, while wearing a gorgeous white and gold gown.

But this Miss USA winner is a long ways from her days as a Central Connecticut State University finance grad.

One of the judges of the USA USA contest, comedian and television personality, Mo Rocca, said he was looking for a winner who reminded him of Abraham Lincoln, but "without the beard."

Brady was very adroit while answering her question about whether she agreed with the U.S. Supereme Court's decision to uphold widespread DNA tests.

Brady said she did not agree with the decision.

The Miss USA winner's answer was in stark contrast to fellow contest from Utah, Marissa Powell, who was asked:

"A recent report shows that in 40 per cent of American families with children, women are the primary earners yet they continue to earn less than men. What does this say about society?"

Powell stammered out a response that's now all over the web:

"I think we can relate this back to education, and how we are continuing to try to strive ... to ... figure out how to create jobs right now. That is the biggest problem right now.

"I think, especially the men are ... um ... seen as the leaders of this, and so we need to see how to ... create education better. So that we can solve this problem. Thank you."

Yikes.

Thankfully, the Miss USA winner has beauty and brains.

As the Stage emptied for the Miss USA winner, Brady said her co-workers at Prudential Financial are going to be pissed she's not coming in tomorrow, saying, "'They're going to be very upset to learn that I'm not coming."

After your co-worker becomes the Miss USA winner, which includes a free apartment in the Trump Towers for a year (Trump is one of the primary organizers and owners of the yearly pageant) and speaking engagements across the country, we think they'll understand.
