Drake Says Chris Brown Rihanna Relationship 'Dark' And 'Could End Really Badly'

Canadian emcee, Drake, opened up to GQ in their July issue about his feud with Chris Brown and the Chris Brown Rihanna relationship that is said to have spurred their feud.

Last year, Drake and Chris Brown got into an altercation at the New York City club, W.i.P. where Spurs guard, Tony Parker, scratched his cornea as bottles were thrown.

But this year, it seems Drake might be trying to patch things up with Brown as the two feuding musicians are finally clear of the woman that exacerbated their beef.

Except, Chris Brown and Rihanna broke up before Drake's interview with GQ saw the light of day. 

Drake sat down with GQ before Rihanna and Chris Brown had called it quits, but he seemed to want to let bygones by bygones and just sit down with Chris Brown.

"I hear he has everything he could want now. I don't want my name to be synonymous with that guy's name. I really don't. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man.

"But that's not going to happen. I'm not confrontational, but if someone challenges, I'm not going to back down."

Drake continues and adds that Chris Brown isn't even a rapper and that the constant feuding takes away from the music.

"It's embarrassing, the amount of media coverage. Two rappers fighting over the woman. He's not even a rapper, but still, it's the last way you want your name out there. It distracts from the music.

"But he's made me the enemy, and that's the way it's gonna stay, I guess."

Drake also says that he gets all bugged out when he thinks about Chris Brown and Rihanna, his former paramour and frequent collaborator on songs like "What's my name?" and "Take Care."

But even though Drake might want to patch things "man to man" with Chris Brown he still gets into a dark space when he thinks about Rihanna and her abusive relationship with Chris Brown. 

"If I think about it too much, I feel it wrapping around my foot," he says, "like I get a feeling it could end really badly."

Brown, for his part, addressed the Drake beef back in March when he was still happily together with Rihanna before reuniting with Kuarueche Tran earlier this month after splitting with the Babadan beauty.
