Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC Release Date July 2 For Xbox Live [VIDEO]

Xbox Live launching for the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 download is set on July 2.

Apparently, the leak that recently emerged online was accurate. Gamespot reported that Activision has already announced the release date for the third expansion of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 with a title Vengeance. Call of Duty Black Ops 2 DLC for Xbox Live will begin on July 2.

The content and materials for Vengeance, the third expansion of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 DLC materials will include 4 multiplayer maps, new Zombie adventure and new weapon. The four multiplayer maps players will get from the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 download include Cove, Detour, Uplink and Rush. Furthermore, the new Zombie adventure named as Buried will include a new version of the fan favorite weapon called the Ray Gun Mark II.

Vengeance is the third expansion from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The first expansion for the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 DLC was first released in January with the title Revolution and the second one was Uprising, made available in April.

David Vonderhaar, the design director of the game shared information about the third expansion of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 DLC, "Vengeance addresses the community desire to have head-to-head, super-controlled gameplay. It's pushing you. And the players who have the skill are the ones who are going to come out on top of those battles. We're coming back with a vengeance."

Gamespot also noted that the Uplink multiplayer map is a reimagining of the Summit environment which was a map from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops.

All Call of Duty Black Ops 2 DLC is included in the $50 Season Pass and there was no specific information released yet for the actual pricing of the expansion. Past releases however were sold for $15 each for individual game downloads.
