Free Games For Xbox Live Gold Members: Get Fable III This Month, Assassin’s Creed 2 And Halo 3 In July

Free games for Xbox Live gold members are coming this July.

Microsoft announced the release of two free games for Xbox Live gold members during the EA 2013. Fable 3 is reportedly available now in Xbox Live Online Marketplace, while Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3 will become available in July.

Microsoft revealed a sweet treat to gold subscription members during their E3 2013 press conference last week. Xbox Live gold members will get two free games each month starting in July, including favorites such as Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3.

But since Xbox Live gold members have to wait for ten more days before July, Microsoft has placed an awesome treat in the Xbox Live Online Marketplace - Fable 3 from Lionhead.

IGN reported that Fable 3 is now free on the Xbox Live and only those gamers with gold memberships can take advantage of the freebie. Xbox Live gold members can get this free game even if they do not have Microsoft points in their account. But unfortunately for silver members, they still have to pay 3600 Microsoft points to get a copy of Fable 3.

Fable 3 was a gift to kick off Microsoft's two free games per month treat to its paying Xbox Live gold members. It was initially thought that the Fable 3 might have only been a mistake, but Eurogamer later reported that Fable 3 was intended as a free giveaway game for gold members.

Microsoft's two free games each month deal will begin this July with popular titles like Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed 2 topping the list of highly anticipated free games.
