Each day, new and free Android games are released in Google Play, but only few games managed to remain at the top. For instance, Candy Crush Saga is one of the top free Android games, and has retained its number one spot for several months now. Aside from being a top free Android game, it is also regarded as the highest grossing Android, iOS and Facebook app because of the in-game purchases it offers to the players. But aside from being one of the best free Android games, this sweet and delicious puzzle game is also creating online buzz today because of reports emerging that its developer, King, is planning to pursue a U.S. Initial Public Offering or IPO.

Business Insider reported that King, under its holding company, Midasplayer International Holding Co., has already hired various banks such as J.P. Morgan Chase & Co, Credit Suisse Group AG and Bank of America to manage its IPO. Aside from Candy Crush Saga, King is responsible for other free Android games, as well as iOS and Facebook apps like Bubble Witch Saga, Farm Heroes, Pet Rescue, Puzzle Saga, among others.

Aside from Candy Crush Saga, another game included in the top list for free Android games is Temple Run 2. Last month, Imangi Studios released a new update for the most popular running Android and iOS game. The update included more dangerous cliffs, zip lines, new graphics, more powerups, more achievements, spinning saw blades and more.

Also just last month, Subway Surfers, another one of the consistent top free Android games was reported to have hit its 175-millionth download since its launch in 2012. The free Android game from Kiloo has been played 5.5 billion times after its release last year, I4U news reported.
