K-Netz Are Learning How to Respond to Praise 'You're Pretty' From IVE Wonyoung

In Korea's culture, not acknowledging a compliment is a thing to show modesty. But K-Netz are learning how to respond to it better from Jang Wonyoung.

In an online community, the IVE member rose as a hot topic after a netizen brought to light Jang Wonyoung's way of responding to compliments. 

In the screenshots from behind-the-scenes videos of the idol, Jang was often praised for her top-notch beauty. Indeed, not only staff but the whole entertainment industry would rave about her beauty that's considered the No. 1 in the current K-pop generation.

Since she's a global idol who always receives words like "You're pretty," and "You're beautiful," people thought that she would be numb to them and ignore them. 

However, they were surprised that Wonyoung remained humble through the years, and rather than saying, "Thank you," she would return the praise instead and recognize that she was able to look pretty due to the help of people and things around her. 

One example was when they were having a pictorial, a staff called her pretty after checking the photos, but the idol replied:

"What? How did you take such good pictures?"

When netizens learned about this, they were amazed by how Jang is indeed the "perfect" idol and that they are learning so much from her beautiful mindset and personality.
