OT6 BRIIZEs Send Funeral Wreaths to SM, Demand Seunghan to Leave RIIZE

Seunghan's return to RIIZE didn't sit well with OT6 BRIIZEs—so they sent funeral wreaths to SM Entertainment.

On October 11, the front of SM was filled with funeral wreaths following the label's statement of Seunghan's comeback in RIIZE. The wreaths came from OT6 BRIIZEs, who want the group to move forward without the inactive member.

According to the demands attached to the flowers, they believe that only six members worked so hard to raise the group's status, and adding Seunghan would put all those efforts to waste.

Thus, they sternly demand SM to kick out the members and re-organize the team.

Over SNS, Korean expressed their disapproval with harsh comments, such as:

  • "I also thought there were 6 original members. Everything is going well now, so why bother?"
  • "Why would you throw a useless member at a team that's doing well? I don't understand."
  • "Sprinkle ashes on cooked rice. It's off."
  • "He deserves to receive a funeral wreath."

When this scene reached the international media, OT7 BRIIZEs were enraged by Korean fans' behavior, ridiculing them for being unable to forgive someone when Seunghan didn't commit any crime.

To counter this, Seunghan's fans planned to send support trucks.

Recalling, the idol stopped his activities after his pre-debut life was exposed to the public. Some fans turned their backs on him after feeling betrayed and seeing him playing while the other members were working hard.

Nevertheless, many didn't see any problem with this. Instead, they were frustrated that his information was leaked. They criticized the extent sasaengs would do for the idol that they used to like.

As a response, the police are considering suing the group and arresting them on charges of obstructing public ways.
