France will face off against Uruguay in the final match of the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2013 on Saturday in Istanbul, where the ongoing tournament in Turkey will come to a close.

France was able to solidify a slot in the final match after defeating Ghana 2-1 in the semi-finals. Before that, the French team defeated Uzbekistan 4-0 in the quarter-finals and Turkey 4-1 in the round of 16.

Uruguay, fresh from a victory against Iraq, defeated the Middle Eastern team in penalties after reaching a draw in the semi-finals. Uruguay also defeated Spain 1-0 in the quarter-finals and Nigeria 2-1 in the round of 16.

Paul Pogba, one of France's starting midfielders, is expected to be one of the star players in the match.

"Pogba is a perfect combination of Juve's midfield maestros and a tad reminiscent of a certain Patrick Viera," writes ESPN.

"Well versed tactically, his outstanding vision allows him to pick out perfect passes, whilst his excellent timing permits him to make perfect runs to latch on to through-balls and convert. He is physically strong, blessed with two perfect feet and tactically intelligent."

Nico Lopez, the 19-year-old striker who played for AS Roma last season, is also expected to headline Saturday's match. Lopez scores twice in the round of 16, including the winner from the penalty shot, as Uruguay defeated Nigeria, Bleacher Report writes.

Lopez had scored four goals throughout the tournament.

Both teams have not released the names of those on the starting squads.
