Eminem New Album 2013 Release Date Rumors Spreading With Black Hippy Hanging in the Studio With Slim Shady

Eminem new album 2013 release date rumors spreading with stories coming out now that Black Hippy hit Eminem’s Detroit studio last month. Rumors were going around that Eminem was going to record a surprise collaboration with the infamous West Coast hip-hop crew.

Rappers Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q said there weren’t in the studio to play on Eminem’s new album. They were just there to hang out. Shooting down rumors that they were in the studio “looking for a verse" on one of the songs on Eminem’s new album. The Eminem new album 2013 release date is still a mystery, but Eminem’s manager says the album will drop in the fall.

On June 6, Eminem posted on his Facebook page: "Before his show in The D, Kendrick Lamar stopped by to hang out” along with a photo.

That same photo went up on Kendrick Lamar’s page with the caption: "Yesterday in Detroit... K. Dot x Em."

The California emcee knows that Eminem’s new album is in the works, so spectulaton is ripe that they were in the studio fishing for an invitation for Black Hippy to make a surprise collaboration.

Lamar told Mstarz, "It was unexpected, I just went to Detroit and I had a show out there and I got a call saying, 'Em [wants you] to come to the studio, come to the studio fast... That was me actually just meeting and greeting. I bumped heads with Eminem [in the past], but it was very brief, that was my first time really chopping it up with him, getting to ask all the questions I wanted to ask him."

Even though they didn’t lay down any tracks, Lamar said the two rappers hit it off and that Eminem gave him some tips.

Lamar said "He gave me straightforward answers and really just gave me the game on how to stay creative as possible... He basically told me albums haven't been done like that in a long time from a new artist, and he can appreciate how I structured the whole thing."

Lamar said Eminem shared, "Always stay focused on the craft and not indulge in the other crazy stuff that comes around."

Schoolboy Q recently told MTV News that Black Hippy's studio hang was casual and not business. He said "We weren't trying to go in there all, 'Oh let me get a verse.' We hate when people do that to us, so we actually wanted to go in there and be cool and feel him out and see what was going on before anybody asked for a verse. We just sat there, we chilled, we talked. We expressed what we liked about each other's music, we talked about Slaughterhouse, we talked about his artists, we talked about us individually. He's just a good dude, just chillin'. I sat in there and I didn't say nothing. I soaked up game, I didn't want to say too much... I can't go in there running my mouth trying to act like I know everything, that's a dude that done been from nothing to something. I sat there and I just soaked up game. I didn't really say too much, I was just listening really."

Q said that doesn’t mean there won’t be an Eminem/Black Hippy collaboration in the future. He said I'm pretty sure one of the homeys gonna ask for a verse though."

Eminem recently lent his support to Skylar Grey on her new solo debut album. Skylar Gray co-wrote “Love the Way you Lie” with Eminem, nabbing a bunch of Grammy nominations.
