Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Release [PHOTO]: Bluetooth Smart Feature Arriving In Upcoming Google OS; Verizon’s LTE Moto X Running The Firmware?

A specific date for the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release is yet to be announced by Google but leaked version of the firmware has already managed to appear in Google Play Edition of various smartphone devices.

For one, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean test build was already spotted on Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition. Furthermore, it has also been updated through a ROM, making the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean available to download and install by owners of Galaxy S4 variant equipped with Snapdragon chip.

Though there is scarce information about the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release, rumors and reports about Google's firmware are already suggestive of its features. WCCF Tech posted an overview of the enhancements and new features of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean once it was officially released.

Reportedly, Bluetooth Smart support and a better API are coming in the latest Jelly Bean firmware, making Android-powered smartphones compatible with devices such as fitness trackers including Pebble Watch and FitbitFlex. Camera with an option for 360-degree panorama is another major tweak added for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean will also feature a better video-conferencing capacity especially since the current Android device can only use Google Hangouts or third-party applications like Skype.

Furthermore, a new image leak of Verizon's LTE Moto X has surfaced and it appeared that the device may be running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release, as reported by Phones Review.

In the photo posted above, some hawkeyed observers noticed that the background behind the soft keys is different from that of the Android 4.2.2 because usually, it appears as a solid black bar. However, the background on Verizon's LTE Moto X seems semi-transparent.

With this rumor, it seems reasonable then for Moto X to run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. However, the report also note that it could also just be because the device is utilizing a custom software.
