Eminem New Album 2013 Release Date Sets Twitter Ablaze; Slim Shady `Chills With Cops’ At Detroit Show

Eminem’s new album 2013 release date is a mystery although Slim Shady has been popping up all over the place. Eminem was Windsor-Detroit International Freedom Festival 2013 last night, he’s being heard on Big Sean and Skyler Gray’s new discs. Eminem’s new album is driving Twitter crazy.

Details around Eminem’s new album continue to be a shrouded in mystery and Twitter is crazy from the heat. Tweets asking for even the slightest hint are pouring out. It’s not that Eminem’s been taking it easy. Eminem’s producer promises that it sounds like nothing before. Big Sean and Skyler Gray have kept him Eminem in the studio and he was backstage at the 2013 Windsor-Detroit International Freedom Festival.

Initially, word was that Shady's eighth studio record would be officially released the day after Memorial Day (May 28, 2013). But the day came and went without a sound. There were rumors that Eminem would make a surprise drop on July 3, but that never happened either.

So, Twitter wants to know, when is the new Eminem album coming out?

Rappers Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q hung out in the studio with Eminem, but they weren’t there to record. Eminem gave them some advice and they just chilled. Eminem also pulled an assist on the first solo album for pop singer Skylar Grey, Skylar Gray co-wrote “Love the Way you Lie” with Eminem, nabbing a bunch of Grammy nominationsThe song was about an abusive relationship. It’s had over 575 million YouTube views. Skyler Grey got five Grammy nominations and collaborated with such huge stars as Sean "Diddy" Combs, will.i.am and Lupe Fiasco. Eminem was the executive producer of her first solo album "Don't Look Down," which came out last week on Interscope Records. She come a long way since singing about sweets and treats as a kid.

Eminem’s new album 2013 is just over a month away from release, but Eminem made an appearance on Big Sean's highly-anticipated new album "Hall of Fame" hits stores on August 27. Big Sean told Power 105.1 “There’s gonna be a Big Sean-Eminem song. I don’t know if it’s gonna be on my album, it might be for something that we got planned later on… He’s a true OG. I don’t know if there’s any misconceptions about Eminem, but that dude’s real polite, real nice... He said, ‘I haven’t been this impressed in so long with somebody’s album. Even though I knew you could rap, you really gonna do something big with this.’ That was just an honor. Coming from the D, that was the person that showed us that it was real.”

The comedian and actor Chris Rock came on board for Eminem’s new album. Chris Rock tweeted a picture back in May that had the caption, "in the studio with Em don't sleep." Eminem also brought Big Sean into the studio for a collaboration. Big Sean put a picture of himself in the studio with Eminem on Instagram in April. Big Sean told MTV News in June, "You might get it from my album, you may get it from his album, you may get it a little later. We've got to work all that out." Big Sean promised that the song would be a "Detroit classic."

Eminem also appears in the documentrary “How to Make Money Selling Drugs” where he talks candidly about how prescription pills almost killed pulled the shades down forever.

Eminem’s DJ, Alchemist, promised MTV that Slim Shady fans won’t be disappointed because of Eminem’s “caliber and what he does.” He said the album is "clearly going to further territories."
