Nicole Scherzinger And Lewis Hamilton Break Up: ‘Too Soon’ For Ex Boyfriend Jokes At 'The X-Factor' Auditions, Former Pussycat Doll Not Pleased With One-Liners

Nicole Scherzinger's break up from Lewis Hamilton is no laughing matter. A presenter made jokes about her single status and ex-boyfriend Lewis, and Nicole reportedly was not happy about the break up one-liners.

The host of "The X Factor" auditions joked about her recent break up from long-time boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

"Nicole's single," he told the screaming crowds before the show started, Metro News reports..

The presenter, Ian Royce, then tried flirting with the former Pussycat Doll in a break, telling her: "I haven't got a race car but I'm single too."

An onlooker told The Sun: "Nicole didn't look happy. It seemed too soon for jokes."

Scherzinger split with the F1 racer earlier this month, after dating for almost six years.

Media speculate that the couple broke up due to work commitments and a difficult long-distance relationship, Metro reports.

Despite the awkward jokes, Scherzinger tried to ignore her emotions by strutting her stuff on the red carpet, smiling for fans and the cameras. She looked stunning in an Emma Cook outfit. She wore a pink shirt with the sleeves rolled up and unbuttoned so low that fans could catch glimpses of her black bra underneath and her cleavage. She paired the shirt with a graphic print pink skirt. A black belt cinched in her tiny waist, and her short hemline and black Kurt Geiger pumps lengthened her legs. The 35-year-old brought her outfit together with thin gold necklaces, large sunglasses, and her long dark hair cascading in loose waves down her shoulders.

Fellow judges Gary Barlow, Sharon Osbourne, and Louis Walsh were also present at London's Wembley Arena, where "The X Factor" auditions took place.
