Minecraft Xbox 360 Update: Release Date Announced Within A Few Days? 4J Studios In Final Stages Before Submitting Update

4J Studios, the developer of Minecraft, has revealed that they are currently in the final stages before submitting the update to Microsoft for certification, according to Examiner, a process that usually takes a few days to finalize.

At this time, 4J Studios is cleaning up the title's latest patch of Title Update 12 (TU12) in an effort to rid the update of all game bugs that the developer encounters, Examiner also reports.

"We're bug-fixing TU12 at the moment. Lots more bugs to fix," 4J Studios announced.

"We'll let you know when it goes to Microsoft Cert test. We'll post a change list for TU12 once we put it into Microsoft Certification testing."

Minecraft TU12 will be available for everyone to download on Xbox Live once the update enters Microsoft Certification testing.

Last week, 4J Studios announced that game coding changes made to address software architectural differences between Microsoft and PC might have produced a delayed release date, but now it seems otherwise.

"We're still working on TU12- there are lots of software architecture changes needed for this update. Thanks for your continued patience," 4J Studios posted on Twitter last week.

Xbox 360 editions of Minecraft have sold over 7 million copies around the world, according to a tweet posted by 4J Studios earlier this month, bringing hope to Xbox One enthusiasts looking for a copy on the next-generation console.
