How I Met Your Mother Season 9 Casts Ellie Kemper: Will The Office Alum Sleep With Ted?
As "How I Met Your Mother" gears up for season 9, the final season has employed the help of "The Office" alum Ellie Kemper to seemingly mess up Barney and Robin's wedding even more.
TV Line reports that the "Bridesmaids" star will play Cassie, "one of the most attractive, available, and - as Ted discovers - unfortunate guests at Barney and Robin's wedding."
With the emphasis being on Ted, is it possible that Cassie will have some sort of romantic encounter with him?
Kemper will be joined by "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd to guest-star on "How I Met Your Mother," who will be "so annoyed with Marshall's erratic behavior that a confrontation ensues."

"We're all extremely excited to have Sherri Shepherd joining 'HIYM' for an arc in season 9!" says co-creator Craig Thomas.
"She is hilarious and delightful and perfect for this part - we couldn't be more thrilled!" But Kemper's role remains more mysterious, as she is set to appear in only one episode so far, and it doesn't appear to be the premiere.

The Mother, otherwise known as Cristin Milioti, will also be a part of the epic season 9 once "How I Met Your Mother" comes back September 23.
