iPhone 6 Release Date Set Before Holiday Season Based On Apple Memo; Features Similar To Kinect Gestures To Be Included?

iPhone 6 release date may be set at some point between November to December, suggested by an internal memo from Apple.

International Business Times, citing 9to5Mac, reported that Apple executives released a memo in which the management is asking its employees worldwide to suggest ideas to effectively sell, market and support the iPhone.

The Apple Memo for the iPhone begins with, "Do you have a great idea about iPhone? Do you have a thought about something that is missing in the store environment that would help bring iPhone to life?"

All the Apple employees are encouraged to submit their ideas for the iPhone 6. Selected candidates will fly to California for an 8th-week trip starting in August running until October. The team will be joining the brainstorming for the next grand iPhone event.

This then suggest that the iPhone 6 release date may be set in November of December, just before the holiday season arrives.

Aside from the rumors about the iPhone 6 release date, talks about the features and specs of the upcoming phone are continuously popping up in the mobile world.

Reports said that the iPhone 6 will be powered by A7 quad core processor, which is faster than the previous processors. It will run the iOS 7 operating system and will have storage capacities ranging from 16gb to 128gb.

Furthermore, reports are also telling that the Cupertino-based tech firm is recently in talks to purchase Primesense which is the company responsible for Xbox 360's Kinect. Does this mean that Apple is planning to add features that will make use of Kinect-like gestures?

iDigital Times posted, "If Apple does indeed acquire the company, the two could potentially bring mid-air motion gestures to the iPhone and maybe even the iPad, Mac and Apple TV."

However, Apple is still tight-lipped regarding the rumors about the specs and the iPhone 6 release date.
