Tom Cruise and David Miscavige have a famous relationship. Tom Cruise, the Top Gun actor, and David Miscavige, the head of the Church of Scientology, are known for their closeness. Recently their relationship has been called into question as actress Leah Remini left the Church of Scientology.
A friend of Leah Remini said: "Leah had brought up to a very, very close friend of hers out of the house, like in private... 'You know, I just think that it is really weird how involved Tom [Cruise] is with the upper levels of the Church."

Leah Remini's friend continued: "And just kind of the amount of, how do I, I just need to say this right, how involved he was with the upper level people.
"And somebody actually wrote a report on her - her best friend wrote a report on her that she questioned it.
"Well then Leah got pulled in it's like how dare she question what is going on with Tom and his relationship with people within the church."
According to the friend, these comments were part of Leah Remini's decision to leave the Church of Scientology, which she was raised in.
Joe Reaiche, a former Australian rugby player, told the Daily Mail about his experience with Scientology and why he left the church in 2005 after 27 years of membership, saying: "Tom [Cruise] and David [Miscavige] are like twins -- they're like two peas in a pod. I think Tom he has turned a blind eye to issues with his church. And they have been very careful not to show him the dark side."
Says Reaiche, "I call Tom the Prince of Darkness -- he's got a warped view of Scientology."
Another former Scientology member, John Brousseau, who left Scientology after 32 years, had similar things to say to about Tom Cruise and David Miscavige's relationship: "It isn't the same both ways. Miscavige would throw Tom Cruise under a bus in a minute. But Tom thinks Miscavige is the greatest person in the world. He worships him like a god. Miscavige would pretend that Tom was his best friend, but you could see it was horsesh*t. Tom couldn't see it.
