Emilia Clarke To Begin Filming Game Of Thrones Season 4 In September [SPOILER]: 'My Dragons Would Burn You All'

As "Game of Thrones" starts filming for season 4, Emilia Clarke aka the Khaleesi reveals in a recent interview she filming for her will begin in September.

"I'm getting to be a brunette until the beginning of September, and then I shall don the wig," says the 26-year-old to the New York Times.

For her portrayal of Daenerys, Clarke has received an Emmy nomination as Best Supporting Actress, in addition to 15 other nominations for "Game of Thrones."

"It's a phenomenal feeling. I was so hopeful that [the series creators David Benioff and D. B. Weiss] would be nominated for writing, that's what my heart was hoping for, because I think they are two of the most talented, hard-working people," admits Emilia.

"I'm shocked and surprised that I'm even vaguely near the same category as Peter Dinklage and Diana Rigg."

"Game of Thrones" is currently starting shooting for season 4, as confirmed by Carice van Houten.

But it seems Emilia Clarke has a bit more to go before production reaches her story.

And what does the actress think of the Red Wedding episode?

"It was a hugely emotional thing to watch - we knew it was coming and we said our goodbyes - but I was overjoyed that I wasn't a part of that. At least I know I'm safe. I'm over on the other side of the sea. And anyway, my dragons would burn you all."
