Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Release: Nexus 4 Purchased From Craigslist Running Google's Upcoming OS, Confirmed Through A System Dump

It is only a matter of time before the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release from Google pops out but the highly-awaited Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has once again tease the Android enthusiasts when it was spotted on a Nexus 4 bought from Craigslist.

Jeff Willaims, a Google+ user acquired a Nexus 4 off Craigslist weeks ago but just recently, he discovered that his smart phone is actually running the long-anticipated but yet to be released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

Williams posted a screenshot of the "about page" of the phone where it states that the Nexus 4 is actually running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with build number JWR66N. The caption he used was "Is 4.3 already out?" And then, on the comment part of the post, there was a question from another Google + user asking if it is a screenshot he took. He answered it with yet "Yes." alongside this, "I thought it was supposed to be 4.2.2."

He then made another comment about the screenshot of his Nexus 4 with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware, saying, "Just curious. I bought the phone off Craigslist from a Googler 2 weeks ago, but just noticed it today."

Furthermore, another user, Chris Clark, tried to explain why the Nexus 4 is running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, commenting, "There was a leaked 4.3 ROM out a while ago, it's possible the person you got it from flashed that leaked ROM."

Soon after he discovered that his Nexus 4 is installed with an Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release, a backup of the OS was created and made available on the XDA Developers site. Other Android users were able to verify that it was certainly the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and not a Photoshop trick as they were able to "extract a system dump" from William's backup.

Though there is no official announcement yet regarding Android 4.3 Jelly Bean release date, it is expected that the much-awaited event will have an appearance on the July-24 invite-only press event hosted by Google, to be held in San Francisco.
