Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 Release Date News: Spin-Off Games Created To Keep The Brand Alive

There is no definite Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date yet but fans are already excited with the arrival of the one of the most successful RPG franchise from Disney and Square Enix.

Aside from information about Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date, ardent gamers are still interested to know more about any developments made to the game. And recently, Gameranx shared some of the things that the game director, Tetsuya Nomura, revealed during an interview with RPG site.

One of the things that Nomura discusses about Kingdom Hearts in general is the reason why they have to create spin-off title for the games. The reason, he said, is that providing handheld instalments can help in keeping the brand alive.

The spin-off titles created for Square Enix' action-adventure role-playing games were "Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep" and "Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance."

He shared, "The main reason why we had so many spin-offs for Kingdom Hearts is because we couldn't start preparing for Kingdom Hearts III for a while - for a long time - because... well, because of some reasons, basically."

Nomura then furthered his explanation with, "However, if we didn't release anyKingdom Hearts games after the second at all, people might forget about the game, might forget about the series."

Though the reasons why they could not initially begin the development of Kingdom Hearts 3 for Xbox One, PS4 versions were undisclosed (for sure a lot of gamers are interested with it), fans should be still be thankful that the game is currently in the works now. Without the spin-off titles released, Kingdom Hearts 3 for Xbox One and PS4 will not be possible.

As Nomura stated, "...if there were no spin-off games, there was no Kingdom Hearts III."

Kingdom Hearts 2 was released in 2006 exclusively for the PlayStation 2 and its upcoming sequel, Kingdom Hearts 3 was not officially announced until the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo event(E3 2013).

Until now, Square Enix and Disney do not provide a definite Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date yet.
