For instance, 'vhkim' who is a member of the Apple forum described the Wi-fi issues she was experiencing while using the 2013 Macbook Air. She wrote, "I have a brand new Macbook Air which is able to connect to the internet for just a minute or two before suddenly it drops out. This is even though the signal still shows at full strength and all my other devices are still able to surf the net as per normal."

After the Macbook Air update was released, people start to see improvements on the Wi-fi connectivity of the laptop device.

Victor Motta, another Macbook Air user commented on the post on Apple forum saying, "I updated the macbook air today with the new firmware solution and so far my Air is working fine now. Hope this solution is 100% efective. 3 hours and, so far, [it's] working well."

The 2013 Macbook Air is the first Apple computer model to support 802.11ac, which is the faster and next-gen standard for Wi-fi.
