Kate Middleton Baby Due Date Is Royal Timing Conflict [VIDEO]Queen Elizabeth 'On Holiday' During Epic Birth Day; Prince William Disappointed [REPORT]

The Kate Middleton baby due date came and went last weekend and the new birthday could be a huge conflict for Queen Elizabeth. The Queen is expected to be away during the royal due date.

"I would very much like it to arrive. I'm going on holiday," Queen Elizabeth II told a group of students at an appearance in Lake Windermere in Cumbria on July 17, HollywoodLife.com reports.

However, she added that there was "no sign yet" of the Duchess of Cambridge heading to the hospital for the big day.

The 87-year-old monarch is scheduled to leave for her summer vacation at her Balmoral estate in Scotland on July 19, The New York Daily News reports. Unless the baby arrives today or tomorrow, it looks like the Queen may have to postpone her trip.

At the Lake Windermere appearance, Queen Elizabeth was asked if she knows whether the baby is a boy or a girl.

"I don't think I mind [either way]," she answered cryptically.

E! News reports that media and Kate fans have been waiting anxiously at St. Mary's hospital in London for the arrival of Kate Middleton and Prince William's royal baby. However, it is now being reported that the Duchess may not be giving birth there at all.

Instead, Kate has left her Nottingham Cottage in London and retreated to her parents' home in Bucklebury to spend time with family before the baby's birth, E! News reports.

However, Kate's parents' home is about 53 miles away from the famous Lindo Wing, where Prince William was born, at St. Mary's.

The fact that Kate hasn't returned to London despite her assumed due date being days behind may mean that she has chosen a hospital closer to her hometown to give birth at.
