Cleveland Man Charged With Murder And Kidnapping Of 3 Women Found Wrapped In Garbage Bags Throughout Vacant Home

A Cleveland man charged with murder and kidnapping involved with the death of three women that were found at his home on Friday and Saturday.

The 35-year-old Michael Madison is the Cleveland man charged with murder and kidnapping and now is currently in jail on a $6 million bond with $1 million for each case against him. Authorities officially made the charges Monday after the three women's bodies found were all wrapped in garbage bags.

"We are in the midst of tragedy," East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton said at a press conference Monday. Norton said the women were killed "senselessly" by a man with "no regard for human life" after the Cleveland man was charged with murder and kidnapping.

The first woman was found on Friday when an odor was discovered in Madison's garage after a phone call led police to the vacant home. There was a standoff with Madison ended with him in police custody. From there, one body was found in the garage and another two were discovered Saturday. One body was buried in the backyard and another in the basement.

The mayor has said the suspect indicated he might have been influenced by the earlier case of Cleveland serial killer Anthony Sowell, who was convicted in the deaths of 11 women, according to Fox News.

Only one of the three women was identified as 38-year-old Angela Deskins of Cleveland. The other two women have not yet been identified due to advanced stages of decomposition, the medical examiner said.

Authorities said the women were killed within six to 10 days before the standoff with Madison.
