Upcoming Android Phones 2014: UK Gets Its First LTE-Enabled Handset, EE Kestrel Specs Include 4.5" qHD Display, Quad-Core CPU, 1GB RAM, 5MP Shooter, Costs Under £100

Upcoming Android phones 2014: We are only a few months a way into 2014 and we have already a ton of new smartphones and devices. However, in case you are from the UK and you are looking for a cheap Android-powered device that supports LTE connectivity, then you may want to check out this one from carrier EE.

According to a report by Android Community, the carrier has recently launched a midrange device that supports the company's own LTE network.

In case you are wondering where the device came from, the report says it is supplied to EE by known Chinese manufacturer Huawei.

Dubbed as the Kestrel, the midrange device boasts some decent specs and features. And for just £99.99, you will get a decent handset that can get you through the day without problems. 

The Kestrel boasts a 4.5-inch screen with qHD (960 x 540) resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, Snapdragon 400, 1GB of RAM, an 8GB internal memory, and a microSD card slot. The usual connectivity options like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are also present. 

Other specs also include a 5MP primary camera and a 1MP snapper in front, a 2,000mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
