HTC One (M8): New HTC Smartphone Is Water-Proof Though Unadvertised, Lasts More Than An Hour In Water

HTC One (M8): It has only been a day after HTC finally unveiled its new flagship device, but it looks like several dozens of people already have it even prior to launch. 

In a new video uploaded on YouTube, the new device was dipped in water, and not just for a couple of minutes - but over an hour!

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Android-powered device even managed a better performance than the iPhone in the test. However, we also recommend that you take this with a grain of salt in case the uploader made some tweaks or took steps to conceal any holes in the smartphone.

At the official launch in London and New York, HTC did not mention even once that the device is protected from water so this video is certainly a mind-boggling one. Any marketing professional should not have missed the opportunity to showcase its product as a waterproof smartphone. 

Well, all we can do is wait for a couple more days to confirm if the all new HTC One (M8) is indeed resistant to water.
