iPhone 6 Rumors: New Patent Shows More Proof That New iPhones Will Get Sapphire Screens, Apple Reportedly Working On Oil-Resistant Displays

iPhone 6 rumors: Ever since the iPhone 5s launched last year, a lot of people are already talking about the upcoming iPhone version. And for the past few months we have heard almost everything about it, from getting a larger screen, faster chipset, while retaining the 8MP camera.

In a new report, we get more proof that the upcoming iPhone will get sapphire displays and have oil resistance.

According to the report by BGR, AppleInsider found a recently published patent that shows another evidence of the iPhone 6's sapphire displays. In the patent, the Cupertino company is allegedly working on a screen coating technology that would make the new iPhone's display oil-resistant.

While oily fingerprint is certainly not the most common problem when using the iPhone, it would probably help people who experience delays or unresponsiveness whenever they use the phone due to their oily fingers.

Sapphire displays are reportedly more durable and can be much thinner than glass so a lot of people are already expecting this year's release to be the finest iPhone yet.

Other rumored specs include 4.7 and 5.5-inch versions of the device, a new A8 chip with 64-bit support, and an 8-megapixel camera.

Checking on Apple's usual schedule, the new iPhones (or iPhones) will be announced in September.
