Upcoming LG Phones 2014: Verizon-Bound Optimus Exceed 2 Appears In Leaked Images, Expected To Offer Midrange Specs With A Budget-Friendly Price Tag

Upcoming LG phones 2014: Even after all the recent smartphone releases, there may still be some consumers who are looking for something that will put a check on all their considerations.

If you are a Verizon subscriber, then you may want to add to your checklist this upcoming Android phone.

According to a report by GSM Arena, notorious leakster EV Leaks has done it again, and it has posted another unannounced device on its Twitter account.

Dubbed as the Optimus Exceed 2, this LG device is a successor of another Android-powered handset released a couple of years ago. And it looks like LG decided to continue its lineup, alongside the various midrange devices the company has launched recently.

Also known as Cayman or Lucid, the Optimus Exceed 2 is expected to boast some midrange specs. Some of its features may include a screen with 4 inches or more screen real estate, a Snapdragon 400, quad-core CPU, and probably an 8-megapixel camera.

In the report, the upcoming LG phone may be offered for Verizon's budget-conscious subscribers, and would be available for less than $100 on-contract.

Other options for you include LG's F series, as well as the upcoming G2 mini.
