PAX East 2014 Updates: Ubisoft To Showcase Game Demo For ‘Watch Dogs;’ Square Enix To Feature 3 Games During The Upcoming Event Including ‘Murdered Souls Suspect’
As the gaming event nears, various game development studios are now starting to reveal their PAX East 2014 plans.
One of the latest PAX East 2014 updates confirmed that Ubisoft will feature the upcoming open-world action adventure video game, Watch Dogs. Particularly, Ubisoft will show off a "never-before-seen- demo" of Watch Dogs.
The press release reads:
PAX East attendees who visit the Watch Dogs area will be treated to a never-before-seen demo of the game. Visitors can also immerse themselves in an eye-opening Watch Dogs experience that lets fans see themselves through the lens of a hacker and get a look at how they could potentially be targeted. Fans pre-ordering the game on site will receive a free Watch Dogs T-shirt.
Watch Dogs release date is set for May 27. The game will be available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. On the other hand, Watch Dogs release date for the Wii U version has been delayed for later this year.
As for more PAX East 2014 updates, Ubisoft will feature two more game titles on their show floor - "Trials Evolution" and "The Crew." Visit this press release to read more about Ubisoft's PAX East 2014 plans.
Meanwhile, a recent post on Polygon about PAX East 2014 updates from Square Enix stated that the publishing and game development company's booth #548 will showcase playable version of "Murdered: Soul Suspect," which is a thriller action-adventure video game from Airtight Games. "Murdered: Souls Suspect" is currently in the works for PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Moreover, Square Enix is also set to display "Nosgoth" - a free-to-play multiplayer action game for Windows PC developed by Psyonix. Fans can also expect the turn-based strategy game, "Hitman Go" which will be available for mobile devices. These two titles will also be playable during the event.
Pax East 2014 is scheduled to take place from April 11 to 13 at the Boston Exhibition and Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Watch out for more PAX East 2014 updates to be announced in the coming days.
