Nexus 10 2 release date rumors continue to surface online.

According to a recent post on International Business Times, Nexus 10 2 release date might be set for fall 2014. Reportedly, the launch of the second-generation of the 10-inch Google tablet will coincide with the Nexus 8 to compete with Apple's upcoming slates. The post reads:

Latest rumors claimed Nexus 10 2 will be released later this year with the rumored 8.9 tablet that was speculated to replace the Nexus 7 slab. iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display continued to dominate the tablet market. Google may have plans to rival Apple's tablets.

Early grapevines about Nexus 10 2 release date stated that the 2nd-generation full-sized tablet will be launched during the Google's IO Conference, an event for developers which is scheduled for June.

However, citing Android Origin, a report about Nexus 10 2 release date suggested that the launch of the highly-rumored tablet will not happen anytime soon because the production for new Google devices will start in July or August to be able to meet the launch timeframe.

As for the specs, Nexus 10 2 is expected to be equipped with a 10.1-inch size screen with 2560 x 1600 resolution and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Moreover, it will pack with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset or the NVIDIA Tegra 4 with a clock speed of 2.3 GHz. The Nexus 10 2 might also come with Adreno 330 GPU. The primary camera for Nexus 10 2 is rumored to have 8 MP while the secondary camera might get a 2.1 MP.

There is no confirmation yet regarding the official manufacturer for the Nexus 10 2 but reports suggest that either HTC or Samsung might be the one in-charge for the rumored slates. Stay updated for more news about Nexus 10 2 release date and specs.
