Sony Xperia Z2 Flagship Smartphone Goes Under The Knife, Teardown Suggests Device Is Easy To Repair For The Average Person

Sony Xperia Z2: Are you thinking of getting the Sony Xperia Z2 as your new smartphone, but you're worried about longevity and maintenance?

While all smartphones today provide at least a year of service and parts warranty, you can never tell whether device will still run smoothly a year after it was purchased. And in a situation where the warranty has already expired, you will be left with two options - take it to a repairshop or fix it yourself.

If you want to try all your possible options before taking it to the repairshop, then you should first know whether you can open the device.

In a report by GSM Arena, Mobile China demonstrated a teardown of the Sony Xperia Z2, which could potentially help you save hundreds of dollars on repairs.

In the report, the teardown suggests that given the right tools, any person can open the Sony Xperia Z2 and inspect any issues he or she may be experiencing with the device.

That's pretty impressive considering the device's frame is super tight in order to prevent water from leaking in.
