Free Games For Xbox Live Gold Members This April Revealed; Square Enix Title ‘Hitman: Absolution’ Available Starting Today For 0 Microsoft Point; Deadlight Available On The 16th
The two free games for Xbox Live Gold members for the month of April have been revealed.
Larry Hyrb, more popularly known as Major Nelson confirms the free games for Xbox Live Gold members this month. According to his official blog post, "Hitman: Absolution" and "Deadlight" are going to be the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for April.
Particularly, "Hitman: Absolution" will be available starting today, April 1, for 0 Microsoft Point. According to its Wikipedia page, "HitMan: Absolution" is a stealth video game from IO Interactive, its developer, and publisher Square Enix.
Hitman: Absolution was regularly priced at $19.99 but it will be free for Xbox Live Gold members until April 15.
The review for the game on IGN reads, "For a game built upon the concept of slipping by unnoticed, Hitman: Absolution is certainly doing the opposite. It's standing conspicuously amongst today's fad-driven modern shooters and me-too multiplayer hopefuls, middle fingers extended. On April 16, Hitman: Absolution will be replaced by the other free game for Xbox Live Gold members this month - "Deadlight." Tequila Works' sidescrolling survival horror video game comes with original price of $14.99. The game will be free through April 30.

The free games for Xbox Live Gold members are under Microsoft's "Games With Gold" program, which was introduced during the E3 2013. Particularly, in this program, Microsoft offers two free games for Xbox Live Gold members each month. The first game will be made available on the 1st day of the month, and it will then be replaced by the second free title on the 16th.
