‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’ Plot Spoilers: Hulk And Hawkeye To Get More Screentime! Jeremy Renner Gets A Makeover! Will They Get Their Solo Movies?

The Avengers sequel is approaching, and the actors are raving about the script! Of course, the promise to highlight the characters without solo films is the most applauded move.

There were already scenes being shot in South Africa which was supposed to involve the Hulk. Apparently, that was the proverbial tip of the iceberg and the Hulk is slated to have more screen time. Hawkeye also has more exposure as well as a costume boost(Of course, the Hulk doesn't need that).

From the report by JoBlo: "The members who have been absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the first 'Avengers' will have 'very big parts' in the sequel, promises the Marvel Studios president.

If the lack of a new Hulk movie starring Mark Ruffalo following the character's breakout status in 2012's The Avengers seemed surprising, it's because Marvel Studios knew that the character's absence would make your heart grow fonder for the Avengers sequel, according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

It 'was important in the characters you haven't seen [since the first Avengers movie] - Hulk being one of them and Hawkeye being one of them - [that] Ultron will make up for it. They have very big parts in Age of Ultron.'"

That is a good strategy though. Avengers fans are all craving for more smashing!

Meanwhile, Jeremy Renner discussed his character with Variety. Aside from playing a bigger role, they also addressed his aesthetics:

"Kind of and kind of not. It all shifts. Even from Captain America to Avengers, they worked their way through looking great and functioning great. I have one of the easiest costumes compared to the other guys, Chris Evans being one of the [harder ones]. The cowl on his head, any time you put it on, the thing gave him a migraine. It hit weird pressure points. But you have to work out the details to have it look great and function great. I feel like my costume might be changing a little bit for [Age of Ultron] Who knows man? As long as the pants don't split in the crotch, I'm alright. I think it's happened to all of us. You're like, 'Ok, we've got to take a break. I've got a hole where it shouldn't be.'"

Are the bigger roles a prelude to getting their own solo movies? Marvel is usually responsive to the clamor of the audience, and if "Age of Ultron" becomes a success, then a solo movie would definitely be considered.
