Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Specs Include 4.5" 720p Display, Snapdragon 400, Quad-Core CPU, 1.5GB RAM, 8MP Shooter, Expected Announcement Date In April

Samsung Galaxy S5 mini: Since the Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched three weeks ago, we have already been hearing rumors of a Zoom and Mini edition of the company flagship. 

While these details may not seem surprising for Samsung fans considering the company's history in releasing several versions of its flagship device, it is still exciting to see some sort of confirmation from trusted Samsung insiders. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, leaker of everything Samsung SamMobile released the spec sheet of the upcoming mini version of the Galaxy S5. 

Bearing the model number SM-G800, the Galaxy S5 mini reportedly packs a 4.5-inch display with 720p resolution, both are inferior quality the flagship's 5.1-inch 1080 display. 

Fortunately, the S5 mini will also come with Super AMOLED display, which is definitely plus points for the midrange smartphone. 

In addition, the Android-powered would also run on a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. 

Also on board is a microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 2MP front-facing cam, plus Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box topped with Samsung's TouchWiz UI.

Given the Samsung Galaxy S5's release date this month, we expect the S5 mini to be officially announced by the end of the month.
