Nokia Lumia 1820 Spotted In GFX Benchmark, Has Great Potential To Be A Galaxy S5 Killer, Specs Include 5.2" QHD Display, Snapdragon 805, Adreno 420

Nokia Lumia 1820: Today at Microsoft's BUILD Conference, Nokia is expected to unveil a couple of handsets running the latest Windows Phone 8.1 update. However, we will certainly be looking more closely in case the unexpected happens.

A high-end Nokia Lumia has recently appeared in a popular benchmarking app, and while we don't know much about it yet, we sure hope to see it soon.

According to a report by GSM Arena, GFX Benchmark has listed an unknown Nokia device that revealed interesting specs.

Dubbed as Qualcomm LiQUID, the Windows Phone-powered device is said to pack a massive 5.2-inch screen with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, though in the benchmarking app, it only featured an odd-looking 800 x 1422 resolution.

Display resolution aside, the rumored Nokia handset could be the world's fastest when it gets launched some time in the future. The smartphone will allegedly pack a Snapdragon 805 chipset which houses a quad-core Krait 450 CPU and Adreno 420 GPU.

In the GFX Benchmark, the rumored handset was compared to the already impressively-spec'd Lumia 1520, and while no results were yet revealed, we sure bet that the unannounced device will trump the Lumia phablet.

So if you are interested in getting this smartphone from Nokia, you may want to check out the three-day Microsoft event. Who knows? It may show up just for a while.
