‘Daylight’ Release Date For PS4 And PC Delayed Until April 29 [TRAILER]; Horror Game Available For $11.99 For First Two Weeks; PS Plus Subscribers Gets Discount

"Daylight" release date for PS4 and PC versions has been delayed.

It was confirmed today by Zombie Studios that the "Daylight" release date for PS4 and PC is going to be postponed for several weeks. The game was expected to be available on April 8 but as posted on GameSpot, Daylight release date is now set for April 29.

According to the developer, the main reason for the delay of the Daylight PS4 and PC release date is to make the game "scarier." As cited on Eurogamer, Zombie Studios shared:

"Let's not mince words. First news you need to know about Daylight is that we had to delay the release date by several weeks. Here's the thing: the way Daylight is developed is completely different because of its procedural generation. In a lot of ways it really helped the team by streamlining the environment creation, but it's taken extra time to make sure all the scare cues are properly implemented for maximum player effect."

The press release continued, "Tl;dr: we're fine tuning Daylight to make it scarier."

Aside from the announcement regarding the delay of the Daylight release date for PS4 and PC versions, the developer also confirmed the game's pricing. For two weeks, Daylight PS4 and PC is going to be available for $11.99. Meanwhile, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to get the game for a discounted price, according to GameNGuide.com.

PS Plus Subscribers can purchase Daylight for only $9.99 for two weeks after the game's launching on April 29. After that period, Daylight PS4 and PC will go back to its regular price of $14.99.

Moreover, PC gamers can pre-order Daylight, also for $9.99

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, "Daylight will allow people on Twitch to vote on in-game events."
