Nexus 10 2 Release Date: 2014 Edition Of 10-Inch Tablet ‘Coming Soon’ As Teased On Play Store; Rumored Android Slate Arriving At I/O Conference Alongside Google Glass?

New rumors about Nexus 10 2 release date are surfacing online.

Recent reports about Nexus 10 2 release date hints that the successor for Google's original 10-inch tablet is arriving soon. This is after an update for the Nexus 10 page on the Google Play Store was made.

According to Trusted Reviews, citing Android Community, the Nexus 10 16 GB version has been listed as "unavailable" for some time already. However, its page has now been modified to "coming soon," igniting more grapevines for an imminent Nexus 10 2 release date or the 2014 Edition of the full-sized slate will be launched soon. 

And since the Google I/O Conference tech event is approaching, some are now speculating that Nexus 10 2 release might happen during the event. Also, according to a report from International Business Times, the Nexus 10 2 release date might also coincide with the launch of new Google products-the Nexus 8 and the Google Glass.

Citing Android Origin, the post reads, "Google's annual I/O Conference will be jam packed with devices, as the latest rumours claimed that the search engine giant will unveil the Nexus 10 2 tablet, Nexus 8 and Google Glass at the said tech event."

Furthermore, Google is also rumored to release a new version of its Android OS, which is currently dubbed as the Android 4.5. Moreover, the Android Origin report also mentioned that the internet search company is now working on Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS.

As for the specs, Christian Post noted that the Nexus 10 2 might be packed with a Qualcomm 800 Snapdragon chipset, a graphics engine, the Adreno 330 GPU, 32 GB storage, 3 GB RAM and a 10-inch display with 2560 x 1600 resolution. Moreover, the Nexus 10 might come with the 9500 mAh battery, an 8MP primary camera and 2.1 secondary cam.
