Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: Galaxy S5 Zoom Dubbed 'K Zoom', Rumored Smartphone Packs 4.8" Display, 2GB RAM, Retractable 20MP Lens

Upcoming Samsung phones 2014: Right after the Galaxy S5 release date, a number of rumors have already been surfacing that the Korean tech giant is already working on a 'mini' and Zoom edition of the flagship device. This week, we acquired some decent info about the smaller Galaxy S5, and now we get details about the camera-centric device.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a leaked image has been making the rounds on the Web, showcasing what appears to be a new Galaxy Zoom model. And from its design, you will certainly figure out that this did not come out last year.

Why? That's because its lens does not protrude from the phone's back, though the report said that it does actually whenever the user will take photos.

If this is the case, then Samsung has really done a great job improving the Galaxy Zoom's design, and keeping it above other touch-screen powered digital cameras.

Interestingly, the report said that the upcoming Samsung phone would not be named Galaxy S5 Zoom to follow the company's naming trend, but instead be called K-Zoom.

We don't know what 'K' would mean in that one, but we're afraid that if it were 'Korea', then we may throw our hopes away that this device is going to be released internationally.

Based from previous rumors, the Galaxy S5 Zoom or K-Zoom will pack a 4.8-inch display with 720p resolution, 2GB of RAM, either a quad-core or hexa-core chipset, and a 20MP camera.
