New Android Phones 2014: Samsung Outs Dual-SIM Edition Of Galaxy S5 Exclusive For China Telecom, Specs Include 5.1" 1080p Super AMOLED Display, 2GB RAM, Snapdragon 801 Chip

New Android phones 2014: Are you the type of Android user who cannot get enough of just one SIM for your smartphone? Then your prayers have just been answered, that is if you are a Samsung fan.

The Korean manufacturer is known for releasing a variety of versions of its existing handsets, even flagship ones. That way, it would be able to hit most, if not all of the consumer groups, each one with varying needs and financial capacities.

And in the smartphone war-torn country of China, that need is at its peak as Samsung will need to take on the country's own homegrown companies such as Huawei and Xiaomi.

According to a recent report by GSM Arena, the Korean tech giant has just outed a dual-SIM version of its Galaxy S5 flagship smartphone.

While it certainly isn't a surprise that the new high-end device would get a dual-SIM variant, it's interesting to see Samsung releasing a flurry of these versions with only a month after the Galaxy S5 was announced.

Other Galaxy S5 versions which are tipped to be announced any time soon are the S5 Zoom, Active and Mini.

However, in case you want to get your hands on the new Galaxy S5 dual-SIM smartphone in China, you may want to know that it is exclusive to just one Chinese carrier - China Telecom.

Aside from the dual-SIM functionality, there are no changes in the handset's specs, including the 5.1" Super AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, Snapdragon 801 chipset, 2GB of RAM, and 16MP of primary camera with OIS.

Like the current flagship, it will also have IP67 certification against water and dust, and it will run Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.

We'll bring you more details on this one in the coming days.
