Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo Released In India; Android Powered Phone Surpasses Its Predecessor With Added 1.2GhZ Quad Core Processor And 1.5 GB Of RAM

Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo Release: After seeing a release of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo+ in China just a few weeks back, the Korean phone company has released and announced that the new Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo (without the +) is now available in the Indian market as well.

As the name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo for India is almost like the S3 but with some improved features.

The mobile phone was officially introduced in India at the end of the month of March. An Indian phone retailer, Mahesh Telecom, reported and confirmed the release of the phone last March 30 on their Twitter account, confirming its specs and the price of Rs 24,900 or $414.

This new phone will have the same 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display packed with a 720p resolution. Different from its China counterpart, this newer gadget comes with a faster overall performance with its 1.2 GHz quad-core processor (1.4 GHz processor with the China releas), partnered with a 1.5GB of RAM that not only surpasses the S3 on all aspects when it comes to speed and performance.

According to gadgethouse website, a few other notable features include a microSD card slot for at least 64GB additional storage space support, an excellent 8MP primary camera at the rear, capable of taking photos and recording full HD resolution videos, a usual 1.9MP front camera for video calls and selfies.

What’s exceptional with this smartphone that separates it from the older version is that it has a dual SIM card support, which has a dual-standby feature, which would surely capture the hearts of the Asian market.

This Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo is reported to run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box and has a large battery capacity of 2100 mAh.
