Megan Hilty told Us Weekly Magazine that the couple found out the baby news on Gallagher's birthday in January. Hilty said "We took the test together. It was the best present he got this year - or any other year for that matter."

Megan Hilty took to Twitter to announce the baby news on Friday, which was also her 33rd birthday.

Hilty tweeted "2 years ago today I met the man of my dreams and now we're proud to announce we're starting a family! #happybirthdaytome! @BrianGGallagher"

Megan Hilty told Us Weekly that she hasn't had to face morning sickness yet, but the former star of "Wicked" admits she is already getting pregnancy cravings.

"Everything I can't have. I want sushi, tuna fish sandwiches, coffee and champagne." Hilty added "I haven't shopped for any baby things yet. But I have found some amazing maternity dresses for the summer."

Hilty and musician Gallagher got married in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas on Nov. 2. The couple announced the news on Twitter. "I married the love of my life tonight at The Venetian Chapel in Las Vegas!"
