‘Justice League’ Movie Confirmed! Warner Bros Will Follow Up 'Batman Vs Superman' With The Entire DC Comics Superhero Ensemble! Zack Snyder Will Also Direct!

The "Justice League" that rumor sites have been speculating on has finally been confirmed. The final cast and release date have yet to be confirmed but they already have a director: Zack Snyder again.

The exclusive report came from the Wall Street Journal:

"Confirming the studio's plans for a movie based on its iconic super-team for the first time,Warner Bros. president of worldwide production Greg Silverman said the studio has set plans to make a "Justice League" movie."

Following"Man of Steel" and its sequel , which starts production next month, "Justice League" will be helmed by Zack Snyder. Henry Cavill is expected to return as Superman, along with Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, who play Batman and Wonder Woman, respectively, in 2016's 'Batman vs. Superman.'"

Silverman simplifies it: "It will be a further expansion of this universe. Superman vs Batman' will lead into 'Justice League.'"

There is no working script yet (they recently finalized 'BvsS') Warner has not set a release date but it probably won't come out before 2018. Mr. Silverman would not comment on who else might join Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman in the movie.

There are clues coming out though, as they have recently been casting the role of Cyborg, who is expected to have a cameo in "Batman vs. Superman" and then appear in "Justice League. "Other DC heroes who could be in the Justice League movie are Aquaman, Flash and Green Lantern.

Warner Bros. has a lot of catching up to do with Disney-Marvel. Already going on its tenth movie, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has established a timeline that movie fans are closely following. The Studio has also produced two Billion dollar movies (The Avengers, Iron Man 3) and the recently released "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is already crossing 600 million worldwide.

Warner Bros. trust in Zack Snyder means they are pleased with his "Man of Steel" outing. They want to maintain the dark and edgy feel even with the Justice League.
