Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Movie News: A lot of people are complaining about the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Fans are upset that Michael Bay will be producing it. TMNT fans says they don't want to see Megan Fox as Aril O'Neil.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman says fans shouldn't worry, that the new TMNT movie will make fans "very happy." Will Arnett says the new TMNT film is a family affair. Fans of the franchise say they'll wait and see. Director Jonathan Liebesman and says fans shouldn't worry so much that the new Megan Fox Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will be produced by Michael Bay.

The next TMNT movie stars Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Will Arnett, and Danny Woodburn. The movie will take place in a dim and dark New York City that under the thumb of Shredder and his evil Foot Clan.

And the TMNT franchising hasn't slowed. Diamond Select Toys unveiled new Minimates this weekend at C2E2 2014 in Chicago. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Minimates debuted at Toy Fair 2014 along with the All New X-Men centric Marvel Minimates Series 59, an upcoming 8″ Retro Captain America figure, and an upcoming Spider-Man villains Minimates box set.

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie upset some fans with the new "realistic" look of the Ninja Turtles. Epic Rival, which produced the film wanted a more human approach. Fans were downright hostile for this year's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles flick.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman told Comic Book Resources. "I know everybody is like, 'Oh, Michael Bay, Michael Bay, Michael Bay, he's gonna ruin it! He's gonna destroy it!' But everyone I have encountered has been nothing more than incredibly sincere to try and bring the Turtles back in a way that's new, fresh and exciting, but with total respect to everything that's come before. I've read the script. I have a cameo in the move. It's awesome - really fun."

Will Arnett plays TV cameraman Vernon Fenwick, who helps Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) fight the evil Shredder (William Fichtner) in the new TMNT movie.

Will Arnett told the Los Angeles Daily News "The Turtles were kind of dormant in the popular culture for a while, but then a few years ago, when Nickelodeon unveiled the animated series, my two young sons started watching and became increasingly pro-Turtle by the day. By the time the movie came around for me, I was kind of immersed in it."

Nickelodeon's Crime-Fighting Turtles returned to the small screen yesterday with "Mazes & Mutants." Den of Geek's David Burszan said in his review  that every "kid's craze has to have a parental backlash. For every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (or Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles if you watched in England where ninjas were banned in kid's entertainment), there has to be a Helen Lovejoy to shout, "Won't somebody please think of the children?!" One of my favorite moral panics was for Dungeons & Dragons back in the 80s. People feared that D&D was corrupting children, turning them towards evil (and of course, SATAN)."
