NBA Champions 2014: Miami Heat Complete 4-0 Sweep Of Charlotte Bobcats To Become First Team Off The First Round! Convincing Series Win Gives Strong Message To Critics!

The Miami Heat has completed a 4-0 sweep of the Charlotte Bobcats. While the buzz about the playoffs comprised of the close games and overtimes, the defending champions were the exceptions as they easily disposed of the 7th seeded team.

LeBron James has been a recurring nightmare for Charlotte. They have never beaten Miami ever since the King brought his talents to South Beach. The Heat are now 19-0 with the Bobcats since 2010.

ESPN recounts Miami's dominance: "The Heat scored 22 points off turnovers in Game 4, including outscoring the Bobcats 15-0 in the third quarter. The Bobcats allowed an NBA-low 14.0 points per game off turnovers during the regular season.

The Heat were 2-of-9 for six points on catch-and-shoot shots in the first half; they were 9-of-14 for 25 points on such shots in the second half. For the series, the Heat shot 46% on catch-and-shoot attempts, seven percentage points higher than their regular season average."

The Heat are looking like champions again and critics of the team are left with nothing to say. LeBron James had a near triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists. There was a scary moment in the third quarter when his knee collided with Bismack Biyombo's. James dropped to the floor and took a long time to stand and walk. However, he would return to the game and finish the job like nothing happened.

Earlier in the game, the Miami Heat team expressed their solidarity with the LA Clippers regarding the racism issue. They imitated the Clippers gesture of taking off their warmup jackets and the white shirts. Their warmup jerseys were also inside out to hide the team logo.

The Heat has always been vocal about race issues. They also had a team photo with the players all wearing hoodies as a sign of sympathy for Trayvon Martin.
