Tuesday's game is a chance that if they Rangers win, it would be the first time they win a series in fewer than seven games for the first time since the first round of the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

"We obviously put ourselves in a good situation, but I think that's been the storyline for both teams," Rangers defenseman John Moore said Monday. "It's stringing together two consecutive strong efforts. We know they're going to come out flying and we're going to see their best. So we have to respond."

While the Flyers will be looking to win Game 6 and force Game 7 back in New York on Wednesday, the focus is one game at a time.

"The mindset has to be [Tuesday]," Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonen said Monday. "We all know what we have to do. We just have to think about [Game 6] and win the game."

Playing from behind is a position the Flyers have become quite familiar with this season. That's one reason there's no sense of panic as they prepared for Game 6.

"The whole year we came back in a lot of games," Timonen said. "Obviously now we're down and it's a must-win [Tuesday]. The guys were kind of loose [Monday]; that's a good sign. If you're too intense at this time of year it's not going to work. Guys were loose. ... I'm looking forward to [Game 6]. We're home. We can be better. Guys were loose, so it looks good to me."

Captain Claude Giroux also noted the team's confidence level remained high.

"We have a lot of character in this room," he said. "Guys hate losing. Lot of passion. That's one of our positives; we just don't quit. Some teams might be a little down that they just lost Game 5 and they're down 3-2. We look at it like we're playing at home [Tuesday] and we got a chance to play Game 7. Guys are confident. That's a good start."
