New Pokemon 3DS Game Announced Amidst X And Y Shiny Distribution Event: Gamespot Talks Generation 7

As Pokemon X and Y continues to excite gamers, a new game has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS.

Introducing Pokemon Art Academy, a spin-off Nintendo 3DS game. According to Pokejungle, it teaches users how to dram Pokemon with the touchscreen.

Featuring over 100 Pokemon, this new Pokemon game will be released in Japan on June 19. Check out the video trailer below:

Meanwhile, a new shiny Pokemon distribution has been announced for Europe.

According to Serebii, a shiny Mamoswine will be distributed to participants and attendees of the European VGC Nationals. Reportedly, the shiny Mamoswine will be level 50 with the moves Icicle Spear, Earthquake, Icicle Crash, and Rock Slide.

The distribution event will take place in the following locations:

2014 Pokemon German National Championships: May 3 to May 4 in Bochum, Germany.

2014 Pokemon UK National Championships: May 24 to May 25 in Manchester, England.

2014 Pokemon Italian National Championships: May 31 to June 1 in Assago, Italy.

But as fans continue to dive into the Pokemon X and Y generation, certain publications are already talking about what they want in generation 7.

Gamespot contributor Martin Gaston believes that as Pokemon moves beyond X and Y, some new features that should (and could) be included include catching Pokemon through GPS, loaning Pokemon to other players ala a Stock Exchange, and more end-game.

What do you wish to happen to Pokemon after X and Y?
